The high-top style is topped with a tubular sock that hugs below the calf, and the Velcro band around the top of the ankle is another protectant to keep water from leaking into your boots. The deep threading on the sole adds traction. Special attention is brought to the arch, designed for flexibility to help you keep moving easily without cramping your feet. The areas of the shoe that receive the most wear are reinforced with synthetic leather and rubber.
